What are some good music production/ business schools that are not insanely expensive?

I would really love to go to a school to study music production or music business and have only found really expensive schools. I would prefer to not have a 4 year school, but right now I’m just looking for options.

The university I go to has what I hear to be a good music industry management program, though it is four years. The nice part about it is that it is through the college of business, so you get a nice business core out of it that will help you alot in the future. It is a little bit expensive, but nowadays, you arent going to get a bachelor’s for cheap anywhere. Here’s a few websites for it:

  • I went to school for music industry studies and was very successful after college. The key to success in the music industry, networking. I highly suggest you go to school where there is an extensive network i.e. Atlanta, New York, Nashville, L.A., Miami. Atlanta is probably going to be the cheapest but is very urban music oriented. Nashville will probably be your next bet as far as price but is very songwriter, country, and gospel oriented. The Atlanta and Nashville scenes will probably be a bit easier to network in. All of the cities are great but the city where you go to school and network will make a differance.
