They have obviously decided that there is no hope of getting that soldier back alive.

The name of the soldier being held is Gilad Shalit. He needs all our prayers.
If Israel was smart they would completely destroy Gaza — it’s nothing but an Islamic terrorist stronghold used to launch attacks at Israel every day!
Israel wants to occupying all of Palestinian lands. Remember the previous agreements between Palestinian and Zionists. They broke all of the agreements and occupied the lands step by step.
So don’t wonder of Zionists acts, they abusing the opportunities that other countries are concentrated on them like Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. to killing and running out innocent unarmed Palestinian of their forefather lands. While Zionists occupied other lands like Gaza, they wasting the time (some years) to have discussion about these lands and usually they won’t withdraw of lands. They want to attache all of Palestinian lands to previous occupied lands.
