I just graduated from college and my finances are a mess (credit card charged off) can I have a finance career?
I just graduated from school and my credits awful, will they give me a break and not deny me employment because of my age and recent graduation?

probably not. look for a job outside the realm of finance.
if you can’t handle your own, no company will hire you to handle theirs.
background checks usually involve credit checks.
Not in this day and age.
People that cant handle their own finances should never be allowed to attempt to handle others.
Credit reports show how people manage their finances and those that have collections, charge offs, late pays, repossessions, bankruptcy’s, foreclosures, tax liens etc. show their inability to manage their own house so why would a employer think that they would be any better managing theirs.
Not for any company that checks credit. Not only might someone in more financial difficulty be more tempted to steal but it might be seen as a character issue. Companies don’t need to take the risk when we have plenty of people to choose from.
No bank will hire you with bad debt. You are unable to get a license to be and financial advisor if you have bad credit.
