Stock Market goes up on bad news – goes up on horrific news – Is this for real?

What is driving the markets lately? It makes no sense whatsoever and the explanations given sound more like either guesses or wishful thinking. On the worst employment figures in over 30 years and major newspapers questioning whether the numbers are being cooked by the govt – the market rallies. ***? Has the market just become a total joke and is being manipulated by the govt or powerful Wall St players? Many pros say no way but then they can’t break with their good ole boys network can they? A lot of other pros are letting the cat out of the bag. This whole thing looks engineered – our retirements are being destroyed along with our savings to what end? – What do you think?

Next week is George Bush’s last State of the Union Address of his presedency what more bad news has he got install for us. The stock market crash, in a way does it seem like the news is being brought matter-of-fact style?

Before when the stock market crashed it was a big deal but now it’s like talking about the weather (unless you’re talking about tornadoes).
Not trying to say there’s a conspiracy but part of it seems a little strange, like nobody cares.
Oh My Lordie, hope i’m the one that’s brainwashed. Just worried about that 12/29/29 happening over again, it’s like everyone’s acting like it’s ok, nothings wrong.
