Opening a business and wondering what types of expenses I can write off?
I am opening an online business for website design. (set up as a LLC, I’m the sole owner) Should I start keeping receipts of all business related expenses? Or would my business qualify as a hobby if I don’t make a certain amount of money in the year that I’m filing.
What types of things can I write off onto my business? (dinners, gasoline, etc.) Do I need a seperate business credit card/bank account for the expenses?
Do I have to accept payments towards the business’s services through a corporate account, or can they make the check/payment directly to me?

Best fee based stock news service? Midnighttrader? Reuters? which one is the best and not too expensive?
I currently have a daytrader account with etrade and I am looking for market insight and stock news to give me an edge. I understand that Reuters Professional is available for $2,000 a month which is way too expensive. I found a site called midnight trader but I have no idea if I can trust them. Can someone recommend a site? or service that is fee based and offers stock news and alerts which could help my trading decisions? Thanks!

I’m interested in business management and was wondering what college courses were required for a degree? I’m going to talk to a counselor at the school soon, but I was just curious.

What are the benefits of a finance major over a simple business administration major?
Trying to decide which major I want, I think I want to go into finance, but I am not sure. I know I am going into business- at a business school.
Also, if there are any people who have careers in finance, what do you specifically and do you like your jobs? Because I have an internship in finance and accounting and it is pretty boring…but it is just because they don’t give me enough work to do so I don’t feel like I have had the true experience.
